So we are back from Seattle on a red eye flight and let's just say we are not bright eyed and bushy tailed. It is Sunday night and I dreaded going grocery shopping, doing laundry or even doing my homework. The one good thing that came out of today was a new snack!
This snack could not be any easier to whip up. You can try this recipe with any flavor of yogurt you like. You can try it with different fruits and different kinds of yogurt until you find your favorite! Strawberries were on sale so I decided on strawberries and low fat Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt has a ton of protein and not as much sugar as other yogurt varieties so it was a perfect choice for a snack with some sustenance!
All you have to do is:
1. Wash and dry fruit.
2. Toss fruit with the yogurt covering each piece completely.
3. Lay fruit on wax paper on a sheet pan and put into freezer for a couple of hours.
And voila! I delicious and tangy treat that will welcome Spring!!
What a wonderful post-vacation treat! And healthy to boot! I am going to check out your Seattle adventures now. One of my favorite cities in the world!!
