Wine & Cheese? Yes Please!

I was so inspired by a recent dinner my husband and I had with friends that was just so amazing I had to report. I fully planned on making a full meal for our friends this Friday night. The one request we got for the night was for the meal to include lots of cheese. Toby and I had a whole meal planned, and at the last minute decided to make a cheese plate as an appetizer. That is where the meal ended. With lots and lots of cheese. Cheese plates are so amazing because you can sample lots of different cheeses and accompaniments with vehicles to shovel this `amazingness into your mouth. Ours was so good we didn't even cook dinner. We ate cheese all night and could not have been happier.

Greek Style Mac & Cheese

It is no surprise I love mac & cheese. First of all, anything involving pasta I am automatically a fan of. The creamy sauce and crunchy topping that mac & cheese offers makes it such a delicious, stick to your ribs meal. Let's not forget how versatile it is! You can add almost any cheese and ingredients to make it delicious! This mac & cheese includes all typical Greek flavors melded into a mac & cheese for the ages.

Toasted Coconut Banana Bread

Banana bread with no butter or white sugar that is 115 calories a slice?Sign me up! I love banana bread so much. My old roommate ( what's up Kate Flynn!) made banana bread all the time when she lived with me. We would almost get gitty when bananas get brown so we could make banana bread. This recipe intrigued me because it was topped with toasted coconut, which I love! I know some people have aversions to coconut so if coconut isn't your thing simply omit! Maybe add some walnuts if you are feeling racy!

Roasted Garlic & Bacon Dip

Something magical happens to garlic when you roast it in the oven. The usually pungent taste of garlic melts away and you are left with sweet sweet garlicky goodness. I saw this recipe for roasted garlic dip from the Food Network and couldn't wait to bring it to the Super Bowl party we were going to.
